About us

For people who require emergency medical care and transportation, the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust offers accident and emergency services around-the-clock, every day of the year.

Our highly qualified staff members offer patients in the neighborhood life-saving care and, if necessary, transport patients to hospitals or care facilities.

For patients who need non-emergency transport to and from the hospital and who are unable to travel independently due to their medical condition or clinical need, we also offer non-emergency patient transport services.

We aim to secure public security and patient care in the case of a significant incident, with other emergency services.

The NHS 111 service is also provided by us in the North West. In 2013, NHS Direct was replaced with NHS 111. To make it simpler for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England, this service was developed. It offers prompt non-emergency medical assistance and is accessible around-the-clock, 365 days a year.
