Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record service users’ fluid and nutrition intake, and bowel movement.
  • Provide end-of-life and palliative care support.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the service user’s environment.
  • Offer emotional support to both service users and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided to service users.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards service users.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of manual handling, medication administration, and basic life support.
  • Willingness to complete the Care Certificate and attend mandatory training.
  • Preparedness to undergo a DBS check.

Job Details:

  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero-hours contract
  • Pay: £11.00 – £11.50 per hour
  • Hours: 20 – 40 hours per week, depending on availability.
