Join Our Team as a Farm Assistant / Egg Collector

As a Farm Assistant / Egg Collector, you’ll play a key role in supporting our farm management team to ensure the smooth operation of our Laying/Rearing Farm. Your primary goal will be to help produce the highest quality hatching eggs with excellent hatchability.

A Diverse and Engaging Role

In this dynamic position, no two days will be the same. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting eggs from nests and floors
• Grading and sanitizing eggs
• Preparing and reassembling sites
• Handling data related to farm operations
• Working directly with birds, including blood sampling and weighing
• Cleaning drinkers and maintaining the farm environment
• General housekeeping tasks, such as grass cutting, weeding, and sweeping

Ideal Candidates:

We’re looking for individuals who are self-motivated and enjoy hands-on work in a farming environment. A genuine interest in farming, especially with a focus on animal welfare, is essential. Your passion for learning and developing new skills will help you thrive in this role.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

This role follows a 5 out of 7-day shift pattern, with an additional sixth day required based on business needs, covering 40 hours per week. Overtime is compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
