In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to support vulnerable adults in their own homes, providing essential care and assistance with daily activities. Key Responsibilities

As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you will undertake a fulfilling and varied role, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene and dressing needs.
  • Supporting safe mobility and physical movement.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as necessary.
  • Monitoring and reporting health changes.
  • Maintaining clear and professional communication.
  • Providing assistance with toileting and personal care needs.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised environment for clients.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for dedicated and reliable individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience in healthcare, a Care Certificate, or NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
  • Availability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Uphold our core values of honesty and reliability.
  • Reliable transportation to reach work locations not accessible by public transit.
