Job Title: Senior Corporate Travel Specialist (Visa Sponsorship Available)
Location: Hybrid (2 days in-office per week)
Job Overview:
CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Corporate Travel Specialist to join our growing Corporate Travel team. Reporting to the Corporate Travel Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s travel and corporate credit card program, maximizing value, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring a seamless travel experience for employees both domestically and internationally. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel Management: Act as the first point of contact for employees facing travel challenges. Research, resolve, and escalate issues as necessary to improve the overall travel experience.
- Corporate Card Program Administration: Manage day-to-day operations of the corporate credit card program (American Express), including processing applications and assisting employees with the program. Manage the American Express @Work portal.
- Meeting & Events Coordination: Work collaboratively with other teams to plan, organize, and execute meetings and events, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience.
- Employee Engagement and Training: Develop and provide training materials related to the travel program and policies. Promote a collaborative culture and innovative learning to empower employees to use CDM Smith’s travel tools and corporate card programs.
- Travel Reporting: Use Concur and vendor reporting tools to analyze travel and expense data, aiming to improve program efficiency and compliance.
- Intranet Site Management: Update and manage content on the company’s Intranet, ensuring employees have access to up-to-date travel information, policies, and industry news.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate relationships with vendors such as airlines, hotels, car rental companies, and travel agencies. Negotiate contracts and agreements to leverage discounts and benefits for CDM Smith’s travel program.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in corporate travel management or related fields.
- Travel: Occasional domestic or international travel may be required (up to 10% of the time).
- Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
- Advanced understanding of travel industry technology, including Concur and other relevant tools.
- Proven experience in vendor management, event coordination, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
