What are we looking for?

Connective Capital Management is looking for a hedge fund trader to join our Palo Alto team and manage a wide portfolio of public equities.

The Trader will oversee two essential roles: front and middle office. The front office function entails executing trading orders from the Portfolio Manager and the Research Team. The middle office is responsible for allocating deals to several prime brokers to ensure settlement accuracy and timeliness. As a result, attention to detail is an essential necessity for this profession. This is not a discretionary trading position.

Job Description.

● Manage all daily trading functions, including trading, data record updates, reconciliation, rebalancing, and reporting.

● Work with custodians to execute trades and reply to communications in a timely manner.

● Proactively and effectively address all concerns concerning trading processes and tools.

● Primary duty for monitoring, maintaining, and improving trade and investment data records.

● Assist the Research Team with trading and performance reports. Create audit reports, rectify data, and review processes to ensure data integrity.

● Job Qualifications:Passionate with market structure, trading, and related investment procedures.

● Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.

● Ability to operate under pressure with tight deadlines.

● Excellent analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.

● Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a team context.

● Excel proficiency (index/match, pivot tables, array formulae, and macros).

● Experienced with programming, particularly MySQL and Python.
