JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position: Lady Tailor – Pakistani Style Ladies Suits

Job Summary: The lady tailor will create and make Pakistan-style ladies suits based on client preferences and specifications. This function entails studying the varied styles, textiles, proportions, and design aspects unique to Pakistani fashion.

 

Responsibilities:

Interpret design sketches, client demands, or patterns to make personalised Pakistani-style ladies suits.

Branded Suits Patch Work: Cut and assemble patches to match customer measurements.

Accurately measure and fit clients to ensure perfect customisation.

Assist clients in selecting appropriate fabrics, colours, and patterns for Pakistan-style suits based on their preferences and individual style.

Sewing and Finishing: Assemble clothing using sewing machines, hand stitching, and other instruments to achieve high-quality finishing and details.

Make necessary revisions to provide the best fit for the client.

Maintain all sewing equipment and tools in good functioning order.

Effective communication with clients is essential for understanding their needs, making suggestions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Maintain high quality standards in garment production, focusing on details and craftsmanship.

Additional duties include selling suits to customers for sewing services and displaying all available merchandise as requested.

Requirements:

  • Proven tailoring experience, with a focus on crafting Pakistan-style ladies suits.
  • Proficiency with sewing machines, different stitching techniques, and garment building procedures.
  • Understanding of various textiles, their qualities, and applicability for particular designs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and fittings.
  • Excellent communication abilities, as well as the ability to comprehend and meet the needs of clients.
  • Creativity and the capacity to bring design ideas to fruition.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of designer suit patchwork and how to work on it.

Sponsorship is available if requested. The salary will be based on experience.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to £26,500.00 year.
