This is a matrix post, and you will report to the Head of OD while also collaborating with the ICS Retention SRO, Regional Retention Manager, and People Promise Manager within Birmingham & Solihull ICS and nationwide. Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

*Master’s degree or equivalent experience working at a senior level in a specialised field.

Experience

Essential

*Extensive understanding of specialist fields gained through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training, as well as additional specialist knowledge or experience equivalent to a master’s degree.

*Evidence of post-qualification and ongoing professional development.

*Understand the context and objectives of current healthcare policy, as well as the implications for engagement.

*Be aware of the interaction between the Department of Health and specific providers and commissioning agencies.

*Experience leading and encouraging a team or virtual team, as well as analysing individual performance.

Desirable

*A thorough understanding of project principles, strategies, and tools such as Prince 2 and Managing Successful Projects.

*Experience in identifying and analysing national policies.

*Member of the relevant professional body.
