JOB DESCRIPTION

 

For our customer in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, we are searching for an experienced Pastry Chef.

Applicants must have at least three years of experience in a similar job.

 

 

Position Summary

 

  • Make customised dishes/pastries or substitute products.

 

  • Temperature control for ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.

 

  • Take food from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator to defrost.

 

  • Ascertain proper portioning, layout, and food garnishing.

 

  • Keep meal diaries.

 

  • Keep an eye on the food’s quality and quantity.

 

  • During hectic periods, communicate the need for assistance.

 

  • Inform the Chef of any excess food products that will be used in daily specials.

 

  • Inform the Food & Beverage service workers of any menu specials or out-of-stock items.

 

  • Ensure that the food is of high quality.

 

  • Food should be prepared and cooked in accordance with recipes, quality standards, presentation requirements, and a food preparation checklist.

 

  • Make both cold and hot foods.
