Job Description
Sherwood Forest Hospitals are inviting applications from experienced and dedicated Band 6 Midwives to join our community midwifery teams in Mansfield, Sherwood, Ashfield, and Newark. This position offers a diverse range of shift patterns, including on-call night duties, ensuring continuous support for women throughout their maternity journey.
As a valued member of our community team, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based midwifery care to both low- and high-risk women. Your role will involve providing comprehensive care, guidance, and support to expectant mothers, ensuring safe and compassionate care from pregnancy through to the postnatal period. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across multidisciplinary teams and liaise effectively with other maternity care providers to ensure continuity and excellence in patient care.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering woman-centred care and who are committed to maintaining the highest clinical standards. The role requires strong communication, clinical expertise, and the ability to work autonomously within a supportive environment.
