Our customer, SURENDRA S VALAND T/A MOHAN’S BARBERSHOP, located on Leicester’s golden mile, has seen a quick increase in its services as local demand has grown, resulting in increased economic activity. As a result, our client is looking for a Salon Manager who will be in charge of the salon’s daily operations.

Our client, SURENDRA S VALAND T/A MOHAN’S BARBERSHOP, offers unisex services as part of its company operations and is frequented by local people from all walks of life. Hair washing, drying, dyeing/colouring, dressing, and massage are among the services provided. The Salon Manager will be in charge of overseeing employees, organising shifts, promoting business services, and keeping accurate records of expenses and income. Finally, the perfect applicant will improve client happiness and corporate revenue. If you are knowledgeable with treatments and have outstanding organisational skills, we’d like to meet you because sponsorship is available for the right individual.

Duties and responsibilities

• Oversee daily salon activities and keep the premises tidy.

• Enforcing cleanliness measures at all workstations, as well as scheduling regular equipment maintenance and service.

• Checking stock levels and ordering supplies.

• Maintaining records on monetary inflows and outflows.

• Taking care of employee and customer records.

• Managing the appointment scheduling process.

• Managing client communications.

• Hire and train employees as needed.

• Launching marketing campaigns, such as social media fan pages, to attract new customers.

• Assisting the salon owner in creating key documentation and reports on salon operations.

requirements and talents

• Proven work experience as a Salon Manager or in a similar position.

• Thorough understanding of treatments and products (e.g., skin and hair care).

• Basic bookkeeping knowledge.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• The ability to manage client requests and complaints gracefully.

• Experience in a relevant field.

• Additional qualification in Beauty Therapy or Hairstyling is advantageous.

Salary: £26,500 to £28,000, depending on experience.

Location: Leicester, United Kingdom.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent. 37.5 hours per week, flexible.
