Ni Hao Chinese is searching for passionate Spanish Teaching Assistants to join our team and support the language development of students. This role is ideal for aspiring educators, offering hands-on classroom experience in a Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Assist teachers in managing classroom activities and providing personalized help to students with different language backgrounds and skill levels.
• Student Engagement: Work with small groups of students to support their academic progress, homework completion, and understanding of assignments.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers to enhance the learning experience, fostering a positive environment for children to develop their Spanish language skills.
• Problem-Solving & Leadership: Help students overcome academic challenges and create a fun, engaging learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Experience: Prior experience working with school-aged students is preferred.
• Passion for Teaching: Must have a strong passion for education and a creative approach to language instruction.
• Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, take initiative, and follow directions efficiently.

Working Hours & Compensation:

• Schedule: 20–30 hours per week with additional opportunities for teaching and management responsibilities.
• Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.50 per hour.
