Why This Role Matters
The Senior Social Media Specialist plays a critical role in building Betway UK’s brand presence. You’ll drive engagement, acquire and retain customers, and bring our sports and casino offerings to life—especially around football and other major events.
You’ll also work across multiple brands, including Jackpot City and Hippodrome Casino Online, and collaborate with international teams. Expect regular interaction with our global ambassadors and partners such as Thierry Henry, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Ottawa Senators, Atletico Madrid, and more.
Your Key Responsibilities
Social & Strategic Leadership
- Deliver and champion our social media strategy across both sports and casino verticals.
- Work closely with the Head of Social to help grow Super Group’s wider social ecosystem.
- Ensure all campaigns align with brand positioning and broader marketing objectives.
Content Creation & Campaign Management
- Use smart planning tools to deliver timely, engaging content across all platforms — Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, X, YouTube and more.
- Collaborate with design and social teams to develop multimedia assets.
- Lead reactive and real-time coverage during major sporting and cultural events.
- Support boosted and paid social campaigns that align with business KPIs.
Community Engagement
- Manage our online community with a human, customer-first approach.
- Work with Customer Service teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Performance & Insights
- Track KPIs, analyse trends and provide actionable insights to improve strategy.
- Prepare performance reports for the Head of Social.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with Marketing, Digital, Sponsorship and global teams.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring content always meets UK Gambling Commission standards and responsible gaming expectations.

Influencer & Partnership Support
- Shape influencer strategies and manage relationships with creators, agencies and brand partners.
- Ensure tone of voice and messaging remain consistent across all platforms.
- Lead social activations during major events.
