Caterpillar’s Remanufacturing Division is seeking a Senior EHS Manager for its Corinth and Booneville, Mississippi operations.This job will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to hourly, salaried, and management employees involved in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety (EHS) operations on a major campus.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and directs the execution of the Mississippi campus’s safety strategy to meet the vision.
- Provides direction and EHS leadership to colleagues, direct reports, and Mississippi employees.
- Engages and develops a team of hourly and management level EHS specialists.
- Identifies common and more complicated safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the organization’s operations and develops rules to defend against them.
- Ensures EHS training is conducted in accordance with regulatory standards or in support of facility, division, or company goals.
- Audits safety/health/environmental programs to ensure they meet company standards, government legislation, and are adequate for local conditions.
- Monitors periodic performance reports for trends and circumstances, notifies line management of issues, and provides suggestions for improvement.

- Professional qualification in a related discipline is preferred.

- Determines standards for assessing vendors with potential environmental effect.
- Creates health and safety plans and policies, such as a fire safety plan and a traffic safety policy.
- Employees are trained on HSE policy compliance, and their understanding is measured.
- Creates an incident reporting form and processes for EHS management.
- Collaborates across departments to improve EHS management.
- Controls pollution and reduces waste of materials, energy, and water inside the organisation.
