Delivery Driver – Seed Transportation (Visa Sponsorship Available)

Job Overview:
Join Corteva Agriscience, a global leader in agricultural innovation, as a Seed Delivery Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering seed to dealers and wholesale accounts. As part of our logistics team, you will play a key role in supporting the future of agriculture by ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our products, contributing to Corteva’s mission of advancing science and technology for the betterment of global communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Seed Delivery: Transport seed to Dairyland dealers, wholesale accounts, and District Managers in accordance with company policies.
• Vehicle Inspections: Perform regular truck inspections and report any defects to the leasing company.
• Compliance: Maintain driver logs (paper and electronic) following D.O.T. regulations and company guidelines.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist warehouse staff with loading and unloading the truck, when time permits.
• Communication: Notify the Distribution Department and customers of any delays and provide revised delivery times.
• Inventory Management: Verify product lot numbers and obtain customer signatures on shipping orders and credit forms.
• Documentation: Submit shipping orders, trip reports, and vehicle condition reports after each trip.
• Backhauls and Pickups: Deliver backhauls, interplant requests, and wholesale orders as instructed by dispatchers. Collect pallets and seed returns as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Participate in all required safety seminars and maintain a clean, organized truck cab and trailer.
• Warehouse Support: Assist the logistics and warehouse teams when no driving jobs are assigned.

Education & Skills Required:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Certifications:
  • CDL-ABCD
  • Federal Motor Carrier Regulations certificate
  • Fuel Spill Seminar certificate
  • Motor Carrier Safety seminar certificate
  • Forklift Operation certificate
  • Medical Examiner’s certificate (physical)
  • Road test certificate
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 65 pounds (with assistance for heavier loads) and operate a forklift (certification required).
• Work Availability: Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
