Aloha! Four Seasons Resorts Lana’i is looking for a Retreat Host.

 

JOIN OUR OHANA

The Retreat Host is the Hospitality Ambassador for Four Seasons Resorts Lanai.

The Retreat hosts:

Greets and picks up guests at designated pick-up/drop-off points on Lana’i for both resorts and resort amenities. Assists with luggage, including lifting, loading, and unloading onto carts and cars. Ensures a secure and enjoyable ride for guests. Obeys all local driving laws and regulations. Assures that the car is in good condition. Maintains relevant logs that record journeys taken as well as arrival and departure timings. Has extensive knowledge of the area’s streets, allowing guests to be carried to and from their location in the quickest amount of time feasible. Ensures that the vehicle has had its planned maintenance, is clean and tidy, and notifies any operational issues that may develop. During vehicle transfer, conducts “Talk Story” sessions with tourists, which include historical tours, activity information, and island stories. Upon arrival, completes all check-in duties/tasks. Handles all guest interactions with the utmost hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; and assists guests with all inquiries about hotel services, operating hours, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, package handling, messages, faxes, and so on. Responds to all guest requests in a fast and correct manner, offering recommendations based on local expertise and hotel procedures. Helps people make reservations for activities, restaurants, and events. Upon departure, completes all check-out duties and procedures. Is assigned a Cash Float and follows all float-related rules and tasks. Escort guests to scheduled activities (such as spa, adventure centre, exercise, etc.). Make itineraries based on Sensei Guide recommendations. Responds to email and chat correspondence in a timely manner, per requirement. Performs all additional tasks as specified. Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

US work authorization is required unless the individual is currently employed as a manager at a Four Seasons location. Current Four Seasons managers may be eligible for L-1 visa sponsorship.
