Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Repair Technician to join our aerospace engineering team. This role involves the repair, overhaul, and modification of electronic avionic systems and printed circuit boards used across both civil and military aircraft. The successful candidate will work within a highly technical environment, ensuring that all repairs meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electronic faults down to component level.
  • Operate both manual and automated testing equipment to identify issues.
  • Contribute to quality investigations and engineering projects as required.
  • Interpret and follow complex analogue and digital circuit schematics.
  • Complete and maintain all documentation accurately to ensure full traceability and compliance with regulatory standards.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven background in diagnosing and testing electronic components.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and detailed documentation.
  • Minimum qualification of ONC or equivalent; time-served apprenticeship preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to use technical software.

  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capable of managing a varied workload independently.
  • Experience within a Part 145 maintenance environment advantageous.
