Job Summary

Trust: University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust
Location: Main Hospitals, Plymouth
Pay Rates: £19.10 to £30.56 per hour
Shift Patterns: Flexible shifts, including early mornings (from 7:30 am), mid-shifts, and nights, with finish times up to 10:00 pm. Shift durations vary from 5 to 12 hours.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Midwife, your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Assessing the needs of women, partners, and families.
  • Planning, delivering, and evaluating evidence-based midwifery care.
  • Providing comprehensive antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening.
  • Identifying and managing high-risk pregnancies.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months of paid midwifery experience within the last 2 years.
  • NMC Professional Registration and compliance with current nursing practices.
  • Additional certifications and skills may be required, depending on the Trust.
