Summary

We have an interesting opportunity for a Project Manager to join Dowty Propellers’ Digital Technology (DT) team. You will report to the Programme Manager and be in charge of executing technical projects from start to finish in order to deliver high-quality results to internal and/or external customers. The post will mostly involve governance, compliance, infrastructure, and software tool installation.

Roles and responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with business and functional partners, and technology leadership to establish requirements.
  • Define the execution plan and approach based on the project scope, estimated timeline, and available budget/resources.
  • Facilitate the convergence of functional and technical knowledge.
  • Work with technical teams often across business groups to coordinate day-to-day execution as per the established plan.
  • Cooperate with and manage external vendors as needed.
  • Ensure that predefined project management methods and practices are followed.
  • Ensure that LEAN project management practices are implemented.
  • Support the execution team in resolving obstacles and interdependencies.
  • Manage project risks, scope modifications, and other non-standard occurrences throughout the project’s lifecycle.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reports.
  • Track project achievements and customer satisfaction levels using established criteria against service level. Ensure the lessons learned are collected.

 

Educational Qualification

  • Proven experience in IT project management.
  • Methodical approach to issue resolution and ability to effectively engage with others.
  • shown customer focus
  • Adaptable to changes
  • PMP, ScrumMaster, or other comparable project management qualifications are preferred, as is knowledge with PM methodology.
