Opportunity: We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive the growth and adoption of Airbyte’s Open Source product. This role involves crafting clear messaging and positioning for data engineers and technical users, managing strategic projects involving customer advocacy and analyst relations, and collaborating across Product, Marketing, and Developer Relations teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop messaging and positioning for data engineers and technical users.
  • Create practitioner-focused content such as technical guides and use cases.
  • Manage strategic projects related to customer advocacy and analyst relations.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and product launches.
  • Gather feedback from customers and the technical community to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align messaging with technical features.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in product marketing and 5+ years in related roles, preferably in data management or developer-focused tools.
  • Understanding of practitioner-focused personas, especially data engineers.
  • Strong project management, writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience in customer advocacy is a plus.
  • Passion for data integration and open-source technologies.

Location:
San Francisco Bay Area, onsite 3x per week.

Salary:
$117,000 – $140,000 + equity and benefits.
