Working Hours:

  • 9 to 10 hours per day, depending on operational requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Health & Safety standards
  • Conduct power line technician tasks safely and professionally
  • Perform rigging, blocking, suspension, jumpering, and earthing work
  • Carry out in-situ steel replacement
  • Interpret technical schematics accurately
  • Maintain a disciplined and hardworking approach
  • Foster teamwork and conscientiousness

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Power Line Technician or in a related role
  • Relevant formal qualifications (desirable)
  • Experience working at heights
  • Expertise in the construction and maintenance of HV Transmission Lines (above 110KV)
  • Experience with puller/tensioner equipment, erection, or tractor winch operation (desirable)
  • Valid driving license (conversion assistance provided if required)

Additional Requirements for Non-UK Applicants:

  • Meet Home Office statutory requirements:
    • Pass the UKVI IELTS
    • Provide evidence of English language proficiency
    • Complete a clear Tuberculosis test (for specified countries)
    • Demonstrate a clean immigration history
