Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Experience Officer to join our Emergency Department at Moree District Hospital. In this role, you will be a key figure in managing patient interactions, ensuring a smooth and informed experience for those awaiting care. Your primary duties will include coordinating with nursing staff, communicating effectively with patients, and addressing any concerns or delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Liaison: Keep patients informed about their wait times and any changes to their status.
  • Coordination: Collaborate closely with Emergency Department nurses to ensure smooth patient flow and promptly address any issues.
  • Issue Management: Identify and escalate any delays or challenges to the nursing staff for timely resolution.
  • Flexibility: Adapt your shifts and hours to meet both your personal needs and the service’s requirements, in consultation with your manager.

  • Orientation and Training: Receive comprehensive orientation and ongoing education specific to your role.
