Are you a qualified neonatal nurse or a newly qualified nurse ready to take a new step in your nursing career? Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is looking for compassionate nurses with hospital experience to join our integrated trust. Our nurses are healthcare heroes, and we value and invest in them through development and training. The role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends as part of a rota.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide high-standard, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and practical skills within the specialty.
• Deliver daily patient care using a multidisciplinary approach.
• Support patient and family involvement in care.
• Experienced Band 5 nurses will also provide clinical and managerial leadership in the absence of senior team members.

Essential Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse on part 1, 7, or 10 of the NMC register.
• Degree or working towards a degree.
• Teaching/Mentorship Qualification.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Foundation in neonatology.
• Qualification in specialty.

Experience:

• Post-registration experience in neonates.
• Teaching ability and experience.

• Analytical and judgment skills.
• Planning and organizational skills.
