Position Overview:
As a MineStar Support Advisor, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive support for MineStar systems, ensuring seamless post-sale experiences for our customers. You will collaborate closely with the Caterpillar support team and customers to track solution metrics and refine support processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of customer outcomes. Your efforts will align with WesTrac’s Customer Performance Teams’ goals, enhancing the overall MineStar product support lifecycle.

Roster:
Monday – Friday, 8 hours/day (Permanent, Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Expert Support:
- Deliver thorough support for MineStar systems, ensuring a consistent and reliable customer experience throughout the product lifecycle.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, Caterpillar representatives, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Issue Management:
- Efficiently assess, prioritize, and escalate issues to ensure timely resolutions.
- Communication Excellence:
- Utilize advanced communication skills to effectively interact with Tier 1 mining customers and Caterpillar representatives, including in weekly meetings.
- Collaborative Teamwork:
- Work collaboratively within a team, autonomously, and across multiple sites to achieve shared goals.
- Attention to Detail:
- Manage high volumes of data with precision across various systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HSE policies.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Tertiary qualification in IT, software, or computer science.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a customer-focused application support role.
- Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and interpersonal contexts.
- Problem-Solving Expertise: High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to follow through on required actions to resolution.
- Organizational Skills: Advanced time management, planning, and organizational abilities to manage fluctuating workloads and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable Experience:
- Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in construction, mining, or related industries, with operational knowledge being a plus.
- Technology Expertise:
- Understanding of WesTrac/Caterpillar technology products, including mining technologies.
- QMS Systems Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and their implementation.
