This role in the Bursary Finance Team at Magdalen College, Oxford, offers the chance to work within a prestigious institution dedicated to advancing education and charitable objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Management Accounting:
- Ensure excellence in budgeting processes, financial management, reporting, and analysis.
- Provide data-driven insights to support informed decision-making within the College.
- Project Accounting:
- Collaborate on development projects within College subsidiaries, ensuring sound financial oversight.
- Endowment Administration:
- Assist the Controller in managing endowments, an essential component of the College’s financial stability.
- Audit and Assurance:
- Support the College Accountant in maintaining compliance with audit requirements and assurance standards.
- Backup Responsibilities:
- Act as a secondary resource for both the Controller and the College Accountant when required.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: £37,174 to £60,907 (Grades 7-8 on the College scale).
- Additional Benefit: Oxford University Weighting of £1,500 per annum.
