Job Summary

 

We are seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Assistant to join the team at Tamba Day Nursery in Olympic Park. This part-time, permanent role offers a great opportunity to support both staff and children during the lunchtime hours, and we provide UK visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Key Details:

  • Location: Tamba Day Nursery, Olympic Park
  • Hours: 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM (15 hours per week)
  • Salary: From £11.50 per hour
  • Contract: Part-time, permanent (all year round, not term-time only)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist nursery staff with lunchtime duties, ensuring a smooth and efficient meal service.
  • Support children during mealtime, encouraging healthy eating habits and social interaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining and nursery areas.
  • Help with setting up and clearing tables and assist with light cleaning tasks.
  • Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children during lunch hours.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred, but not required).
  • Passion for working with young children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and necessary training.
