Pangea, an innovative new POD hotel in the heart of Whistler’s pedestal village, is looking for renting a line chef for his team. As a cook for Pangea, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious dishes from innovative menus, maintaining the highest standard of food, presentation, and quality.
You are someone who knows the way in the kitchen, either with instincts or experience. You are excited about food and have appreciation for creative presentations. And have you ever worked in a commercial kitchen before or not, you are someone who is very proud of your output quality, be it food or vice versa. Most importantly, you are a team player who can build relations both with colleagues both in the kitchen and in front.
Of course, commercial kitchens can be a demanding environment (physically and emotionally), so it is important for you to be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure. If you are a person who gets a rumors from putting the pedal to the metal, but can stay calm and calm in difficult circumstances, we want to hear from you.

Role and responsibility.
As a cook at Pangea, you will prepare food in a very small but busy kitchen, making sure the order is sent on time and with high standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, and keeping kitchen equipment well maintained and in good condition.
