A Little Bit About Us
We are the Nestlé Nespresso SA Business, one of Nestlé’s operating divisions that is expanding the quickest. One of the most reputable brands in the world today is Nespresso thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit and passion of our workforce. Our dedication to research and development has allowed us to lead the way in the portioned coffee industry and set the standard for excellence by offering the highest quality coffees for consumers to enjoy at home as well as at restaurants, hotels, workplaces, and upscale retail establishments. By carefully, thoughtfully, and sustainably producing and marketing our premium coffee capsules and machines, we ensure quality.
Sustainability is key to Nespresso’s operations, from product sourcing to recycling, so by the end of 2022 every cup of Nespresso coffee will be carbon neutral. Over half of Nespresso’s coffee is certified by the Rainforest Alliance or Fairtrade, and 93% of it is sourced through the company’s AAA Sustainable QualityTM Program. Aluminum, an indefinitely recyclable material that is recycled back into the metal supply chain, is used to make Nespresso capsules.
Nespresso, which has its corporate headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, is present in more than 81 countries and employs more than 13,000 people globally. In the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, Nespresso UK&ROI—a certified B CorpTM—operates 45 boutiques and an online store to provide barista-level coffee experiences of the highest caliber to both at-home and business consumers.
