We are currently seeking talented Engineers to join our growing business in Selsey, West Sussex. Reporting to our Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining and managing cutting-edge production technology within the food industry. Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
• Solid knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or both), with a strong willingness to expand skills in these areas
• Relevant engineering qualifications, at least Level 3 Engineering NVQ or equivalent
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to communicate engineering issues across departments as required
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a strong numerical capability
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• IT literacy
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day maintenance and continuous improvement of plant, assets, and services
• Efficient use of engineering departmental systems and processes
• Ensure all work adheres to food and health & safety standards
• Complete PPM tasks and suggest improvements to maintenance practices
• Quickly diagnose and resolve equipment faults
• Proactively identify and eliminate faulty processes
• Uphold and exceed product quality and GMP standards
• Act as the go-to person on shift, playing an active role in the team
• Monitor budgets and stock control, maintaining shift documentation
• Ensure the safety and operational standards of buildings, plant, and equipment
• Complete shift metrics and escalate issues to the engineering manager when needed
