Duties of the position

Healthcare Assistant – Ward York Hospital | Ward | Permanent | Full Time | Weekend and night shifts Included £19,578 per year, pro rata 37.5 hours per week

You will demonstrate to us that you are able to adhere to deadlines and instructions by working as a healthcare assistant on the ward at our York Hospital. You have excellent computer and database abilities and a pleasant telephone approach. You must possess NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications and appropriate experience in an acute hospital or care setting; alternatively, we can support you in obtaining these credentials by offering an apprenticeship program.

In the ward, your duties as a healthcare assistant will be:

● prioritizing patient care

● perform administrative tasks

● Spend some time getting to know the individuals that are our patients.

● Put your organizational abilities to good use.
