JOB DESCRIPTION
Puget Sound Kidney Centres (PSKC) is getting bigger! Get ready to help us open our newest office in Shoreline! This beautiful, brand-new outpatient office is in the Richmond Beach neighbourhood. It has an open floor plan with lots of plants and natural light. New B Braun dialysis machines, 22 treatment stations, and a combined Home Therapies unit will be in it. It will have a state-of-the-art RO system.
We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team of doctors and nurses and handle dialysis and patient care at PSKC. The RN is in charge of teaching patients, overseeing Dialysis Technicians, changing treatment plans as needed, keeping an eye on the patient’s progress, giving medications, taking part in quality improvement projects, and working with the social worker, dietitian, and nephrologist on the patient’s care team.

Education and Work Experience
- A degree from a nursing school that has been approved.
- Must have a valid Registered Nurse licence or a Compact RN licence from the WA State Board of Nursing.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certificates from the American Heart Association that is up to date.
- People who have done hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis before are recommended.
- It’s best if you have training in either acute or ambulatory nursing.

Location and hours: Until the Richmond Beach centre opens, the first training for the Dialysis RN will take place in Everett or Mountlake Terrace. When it opens, the main place of work will be at PSKC’s office in Richmond Beach. Based on the number of patients and staffing needs, a second work site will be set up for backup coverage. They must be able to work any three or four days a week, Monday through Saturday, for a 10- to 13-hour shift. The first shift starts as early as 4:00 AM and the last shift ends as late as 11:00 PM.
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this job is $33.64 to $56.30 an hour. Multiple factors, such as previous experience in the same or a similar job, are used to figure out pay offers.
