This is an outstanding development opportunity to join our team of experienced, energetic, and positive-thinking nurses that are accessible to help our District Nursing community teams around the area.

We are searching for a community nurse who wants to share their expertise and experience with a variety of community teams in the Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire area, all while growing their confidence and management skills.

You will be asked to travel, sometimes on short notice, within our local community teams to provide resilience to current teams while also bringing new ideas and energy.

As a result, we have an excellent opportunity for a highly driven, enthusiastic nurse to assist us build resilience within our community teams, with the flexibility to give specialist support to fill staffing shortages and meet service demand.

You will work as a team to provide support for varied lengths of time to the team, as well as to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care in the most efficient and clinically effective manner possible while protecting the patient’s confidentiality and dignity.

This position provides an excellent chance for personal development and experience within the Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire locality communities.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible about where they work and be able to travel throughout North Derbyshire to access our services.

As part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire, we aim to deliver community health services to over one million patients in Derbyshire and Derby.
