We have a staff of over 170 specialists who provide critical services to the University, such as network administration, system development, technical support, enterprise architecture, cyber security, and project delivery.
Working throughout the University, we are enabling Strategy 2030’s aspirations to be digitally nimble, technologically enabled, and future-oriented. As part of this, we are modernising the University’s IT landscape by establishing a defined corporate architecture and implementing supporting standards, principles, and practices.
IT Services operates in a hybrid model, allowing employees to work both on campus and remotely based on project or team requirements.
About You
You will collaborate with a team to deliver complex digital projects or technical workstreams within a strategic plan, frequently overseeing end-to-end delivery from procurement to live service.
You will promote best practices in project delivery and/or initiatives through multidisciplinary teams. Teams will be made up of internal technical specialists, business experts, and external suppliers who will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the enterprise.
This is a great chance for a Project Manager to further enhance their skills, as you will be exposed to both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. You’ll have:
- A solid foundation in either Agile or Waterfall delivery management approaches, processes, and techniques
- A proven track record of delivering digital projects/initiatives.
- Experience establishing successful, motivated delivery teams.
- Evidence of sustaining delivery velocity and resolving difficulties
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders and other parties to drive delivery

Interviews are set to take place at our Frenchay Campus on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position that will last until December 2025 and need 37 hours a week.
This position is not available through a job sharing.
