Electrical Project Manager
(pharmaceutical industry)
Up to £70,000 plus pension, healthcare, and relocation assistance.

We now have an excellent opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager (Electrical) to join the team of a major pharmaceutical firm with a plant in Northern Ireland.
The Electrical Engineering Project Manager will be in charge of the planning, management, coordination, and financial control of electrical projects in a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to define electrical project requirements and milestones.
- Coordinate resources, track risks, and escalate any difficulties.
- Ensure that LV/HV systems are provided to the business within timescales and budget.
- Lead the development of cost-effective electrical design solutions.
- Organise the testing, commissioning, and validation of new facilities and equipment.
- Evaluate technical concepts and create budget estimates.
- Support the tender process and supplier selection.
- Set team aims and evaluate performance through evaluations, objectives, and 1-on-1 sessions.
Key requirements:
- Degree in electrical engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of project delivery experience in a pharmaceutical or equivalent highly regulated industry, with full life-cycle and budget responsibilities.
- Extensive experience in project delivery using a complete project management process
- Project management certification.
- Experience with leadership roles
- Understanding of LV Systems, LV Distribution, UPS, and LV Supplies
- recognised H&S certification (IOSH/NEBOSH)
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
