Pharmacist jobs in Stroud and Independent Pharmacy jobs in Gloucestershire.

Competitive salary. DOE
Full-time or part-time?
Three to five days per week.
Second chemist in practice.
Tier 2 sponsorship is available.

We are now recruiting on behalf of an Independent Pharmacy Group, which operates many pharmacies in the South West and employs over 20 pharmacists.

All of the group’s store managers are pharmacists, and they place a high value on empowering pharmacists to lead inside the pharmacy. Based in the heart of local communities, the group has been founded for many years. They offer a helpful headquarters and an excellent operations team that are available to assist you as a pharmacy manager.

The pharmacy dispenses 19,000 products each month and requires an experienced chemist. The pharmacist is supported by a stable team consisting of a store manager, a second pharmacist, a checking technician, a pre-registration pharmacist, and 5 strong dispensers.

The pharmacy is open from 9am to 6:00pm weekdays and 9am to 5:30pm on Saturdays.The drugstore is closed on all bank holidays.

They use a centralised purchasing strategy, allowing pharmacies to focus on patients and services.

There is potential for career advancement into positions such as Area Manager, Services Lead, Superintendent duties, or Continuous Professional Development Lead (CPD) for the group.
