JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We are searching for a candidate that understands Indian cuisine and can pick and choose Indian ingredients to combine with more standard pizza ingredients and use as toppings to create Indian-style pizzas.

The responsibilities of a Pizza Chef include preparing pizza dough, slicing and chopping toppings such as vegetables and meats, and carrying out client orders while taking into account particular demands. To be successful in this position, you need have prior knowledge with various pizza styles and be willing to work during business hours.

Finally, by making high-quality pizzas, you may help boost customer happiness.

 

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas from our menu and for special orders.

· Bake various pizza doughs, such as thin crust, thick crust, and cheese-stuffed.

· Prepare fresh tomato, pesto, and white cream sauces.

· Wash and chop veggies (such as tomatoes, peppers, onions, and mushrooms).

Prepare and grill meats such as chicken, gammon and beef.

· Monitor food inventory and place orders as needed.

· Use non-traditional ingredients to reach a wider audience, such as vegan cheese and gluten-free flour.

• Prepare appetisers such as mozzarella sticks, pizza nibbles, garlic bread, and salad.

· Suggest new recipes to improve our meals.

· Keep a clean cooking area and sterilise equipment.

 

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or related function in a restaurant.

• Practical practice in preparing and baking pizza doughs.

• Experience with professional kitchen equipment, including brick or stone ovens.

· Understanding food hygiene.

· Effective time management abilities.

· Promotes team spirit.

• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and evenings.

· Culinary school diploma is beneficial.

Salary: £26,900.00 to £31,200.00 per year.
