Essential Criteria

Education and Qualifications

*Essential Criteria*
– NVQ Level 3 in Decontamination.
– Degree or equivalent experience.

Desirable Criteria

– Membership with the Institute of Decontamination Services (IDSC).
– City & Guilds 229515 Certificate in Management of the Decontamination Process.
– NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration.
– NVQ Level 3 in Management.

Experience

*Essential Criteria*
– Extensive experience in Sterile Services.
– Proven ability to manage and address complaints from customers, suppliers, and staff.
– Experience in managing large teams.

Desirable Criteria

– Production management experience with the ability to schedule production effectively.

Knowledge

*Essential Criteria*
– Technical knowledge of reusable medical devices.
– Current understanding of legislation, standards, and guidelines related to medical device decontamination, including BS EN ISO 13485:2016 and MDD 92/43/EEC.

*Desirable Criteria*
– In-depth knowledge of decontamination technology.

Skills and Aptitudes

– Ability to collate, analyse, and present data and reports.
