Strong Group is now working with an established and respected goods organisation in the Greater London area that is looking for an experienced and motivated client manager and internal sales representative to join their London branch.
-Location: Greater London – Role: Client Manager & Internal Sales
-40 Hours per Week
– Hours: Monday through Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
-Hybrid role (two days WFH).- Salary range: £25,000 to £40,000 (DOE).
Our customer is the logistics solutions market leader in the United Kingdom, the European Union, Asia, and the United States. For over 30 years, they have been providing specialised tailored solutions to the international goods forwarding business.
Client manager and internal sales responsibilities and duties
- Lead Generation: Proactively create leads and make cold calls to potential customers.
- Pipeline Development: Nurture leads and turn them into loyal clients via a variety of channels, including phone conversations and virtual meetings (Teams, etc.).
- Relationship Building Establish and cultivate client connections to promote trust and loyalty.
- Assisted the Business Development Manager with onboarding.
- Client demands Assessment: Understand your clients’ specific demands and respond effectively with specialised solutions that meet and surpass their expectations.
- Product Knowledge: Gain a thorough understanding of the company’s services and become a knowledgeable resource for informing and guiding others about them.
Client manager and internal sales experience are required.
- A minimum of one year of sales experience, with a strong preference for experience in the goods forwarding industry.
- Extensive experience in road, marine and air freight sales.
- Experience with order fulfilment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Motivated and goal-oriented: The ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- sector Knowledge: Understanding the goods and logistics sector is advantageous.
