Overview:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- A Family Medicine physician is needed to join our dedicated primary care team of three Family Medicine physicians and one advanced practice provider at OSF Medical Group in Escanaba.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a flexible schedule available.
- Inpatient paediatric coverage is provided by Family Medicine physicians. The call rotation consists of 10-12 physicians.
- During the week, there is a light call (phone call only) with nurse triage assistance.

THE COMPANY

- Escanaba, located in Delta County on the beaches of the Bays de Noc in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, has more than 200 miles of freshwater shoreline than any other county in the United States.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Licenses/Certifications: Physician licenced to practise medicine in the current state.
- In the relevant specialty(ies), you must be board qualified or board eligible. Obtain and maintain membership on the medical staff as well as relevant privileges.
- Must be eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health-care programmes.
- To participate in OSF’s professional malpractice and other liability coverage programmes, physicians must meet all conditions.
- If relevant, licenced by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Michigan to prescribe narcotics.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to deliver patient care that is tailored to the patients’ preferences, goals, and needs.
