Jubilee Lodge is a 74-bed nursing home in Bourton on the Water. In a friendly, homelike setting, the home provides individualised dementia, nursing, respite, and intermediate care. We have a Carehome.co.uk rating of 9.6 and a Care Quality Commission rating of Good. We have a fantastic opportunity for a full or part-time Day Nurse.
Every day, our care teams make a significant difference, and your professionalism, warmth, and compassion will be at the heart of all you do. You may be the sole nurse on the shift at times, and you will be responsible for leading and managing the care team to ensure high standards of nursing and personal care are fulfilled, as well as providing clinical leadership and guidance as needed. You will deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in collaboration with each resident, their main carers, family members, and the home’s larger team, as well as efficiently liaise with GPs, hospitals, and other organisations.

ABOUT YOU
You must be a registered general nurse or registered mental health nurse who is currently registered with the NMC. You will have post-registration experience, be able to demonstrate continuing professional development activities, and be able to operate independently. You will comprehend regulatory frameworks and have experience with, or be willing to learn about:
– Administration of medication
– Catheters
– Palliative care
– Death verification
– Syringe operators
– Gastrostomy support
– Veinpuncture
– Diabetes education
– Viability of tissue
– Epilepsy education
– Deterioration management – Sepsis awareness
You’ll be a positive role model with strong communication skills and a natural ability to foster positive workplace connections. As a helpful leader, you will inspire your team to provide the best possible care to our residents at all times.
