JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Berkeley Scott has teamed up with an independent restaurant in a beautiful coastal location to help them locate a Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. You will be scratch cooking to a high standard and aiding the Head Chef in operating the kitchen.

Your new position as our Sous Chef:

 

  • Cooking with the finest locally available ingredients
  • Cooking from scratch with good standards
  • Assisting the Head Chef in running the kitchen.
  • Help with training, health, and safety.
  • Input for menu construction

 

What we ask from you:

  • Must have a genuine enthusiasm for cooking and serving the finest quality food.
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef, or experienced Junior Sous/Senior CdP willing to move up
  • Experience with a similar standard property.
  • Experience with menu creation.
  • Experience in catering for events and functions
