Job Summary

Are you a seasoned site engineer seeking a different challenge? The East Suffolk & North Essex Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and proactive person to join the Estates Team.

With specific responsibility for engineering statutory compliance, capital maintenance management software, PPMs, testing of plant & equipment (such autoclaves) and buildings, and engineering services, the post holder will support the Head of Estates in all estate-related activities.

Main responsibilities of the job

● The post holder will offer professional and technical engineering advice and information to the Head of Estates as needed.

● making use of the Trust’s computer-aided database and facilities management systems to guarantee the highest standards of service resilience and legal compliance.

● Engage in the on-call service for out-of-hours management and assume Authorizing Person (AP) or Responsible Person (RP) duties for at least three of the following as necessary for operation: HVAC, decontamination, pressure systems, water safety, LV, medical gas, and lifts
