Job Summary

Band 2 equivalent Theatre Healthcare Assistant HCA | Theatres | Flexible rota | Spire Regency A healthcare assistant is needed at Spire Regency Hospital to join our outstanding theater team. The position is full-time for 37.5 hours per week, varying between shifts from 8 am to 8 pm. There will be some Saturdays involved with this job.

Main responsibilities of the job

Responsible for offering a variety of support services, such as the following, to the Nurses and Consultants during procedures:

● helping the scrub nurses with the procedures

● Support the patient while they are in the anesthetic room.

● sterile packs being opened

● instruments for checking

● helping to prepare the next patient and clean up the theater between cases.

● Getting everything ready for the list the next day

● helping with equipment ordering

● upkeep of high-quality healthcare delivery

● Understanding infection control and making a contribution
