Responsibilities

○ Analyze engine and machine test data to establish technical goals and pinpoint system-level dangers.

○ Analyze and fix current product problems

○ Encourage the development and upkeep of engine system-level FMEAs and the execution of DVP

○ Collaborate with component engineers, test engineers, suppliers, and customers, to evaluate and verify engine systems and components

○ Convert DVP findings into product capabilities and application sign-off specifications.

Essential

Your profile

● BEng in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a relevant field

● A solid understanding of combustion engine principles

● Approach to Systems Engineering

● Outstanding technical problem-solving abilities that follow a disciplined process

● Experience in product development from the system demonstration stage to production

● Experience leading teams and writing DFMEAs

● Process oriented

● Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities

● Able to work both individually and as a member of both large and small teams

● It will be required that you analyze data as part of your issue investigation.

● A methodological strategy

Preferable

● Masters or Doctorate preferred in a certain subject area

● Understanding of data analysis software

● Knowledge and expertise in describing the characteristics and components of diesel engines

● Engine experience off-road

● Knowledge of international emissions regulations

● Managing the life cycle of a product

● Control of the bill of materials

The salary range for this position is £37,000-£43,000, and we will provide market-competitive pay that takes education and experience into account.
