To join the Professional Campus Services Strategic Procurement team, we are searching for a procurement manager. The chosen applicant will be in charge of strategic initiatives resulting from market engagement and spend analytics, as well as tendering, awarding, and contract administration of a variety of procurement projects, all while reporting to the relevant Category Head. The position holder will be required to achieve cash savings and other cost efficiencies, support knowledge production and transfer, which is at the core of the university’s Strategy 2030, and contribute to the university’s financial well-being and international research profile.

The Opportunity

The postholders will be a part of a procurement team that is forward-thinking, ambitious, and supportive and that is already far along in a service transformation program. Being a member of the larger Finance Directorate, we strive to provide the academic teaching and research personnel as well as our professional services colleagues with top-notch services in keeping with the university’s Top-20 Global Ranking.

You will interact directly with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to make sure procurement produces creative, functional solutions that are in line with university goals and governmental directives.

Applicants will be urged to use initiative and discretion, assuming responsibility for strategic purchases that benefit the University as a whole the most.

● Knowledge of end-to-end tendering procedures, including the use of eTendering technologies, based on both practical experience and solid theory.

● A strong foundation in managing supplier relationships and contracts in real life.
