Teesside University’s Campus Services department supports the university’s infrastructure, buildings, and landholdings with strategic and operational services. With about 270 employees, we are a sizable and varied department that offers a wide range of services throughout our campus.
You will play a significant role in the management, upkeep, and design of important electrical systems while employed in the Estates section of the university, ensuring that they are available to all faculty, staff, and students as needed.
An candidate is asked to apply to join a dynamic and active team of engineers working to deliver an innovative and dynamic portfolio. We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer with experience managing a broad range of electrical building engineering services, planned and unplanned maintenance, and legal compliance.
Candidates will have a track record of success and in-depth knowledge of building engineering services maintenance within a major organization. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, computer literate, an excellent organizer, possess demonstrated leadership qualities, and have excellent communication skills. You must also hold a degree in building services engineering or an equivalent.
