JOB DESCRIPTION

An international family is looking for an experienced, kind, structured, easygoing, and flexible Nanny to care for their two primary school-aged children. The family also hires a nanny/housekeeper (who cares for the children in the mornings) and a driver.

The Nanny will work five days a week, with Mondays and Tuesdays off, Wednesdays through Fridays from early afternoons to late evenings, and weekends working full-time (on call).

Duties will include assisting with homework and playing educationally appropriate games, introducing new interests, and accompanying the children to various activities and play dates. Nursery responsibilities and occasional cooking.

The family travels frequently (every school holiday, typically to Europe and occasionally to the Middle East), as well as on shorter trips throughout the United States. Additional language skills, such as Spanish or French, would be extremely beneficial for this position, but are not required.

For this position, candidates with a J1 visa (age restriction) or a US passport/Green card would be preferable. Salary is flexible based on amount of experience, qualifications, and visa eligibility. This is a live-in position, with a bedroom and bathroom provided.
