JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Carer or Senior Carer

  • Covering Honiton, Ottery St Mary, West Hill, Lyme Regis and the neighbouring rural districts.
  • Full and Part-Time
  • Client visits, pauses between visits (including travel time), obligatory training, and supervision sessions cost between £11.20 and £18.97 per hour.
  • Block Pay.
  • In addition, we pay 1/2 travel from your home to the first visit and 1/2 mileage to home from your last visit.

Are you the right fit for us?

 

  • No experience in care is required, as comprehensive training can be provided.
  • Applications from experienced caretakers are encouraged, and there is the opportunity for career advancement.
  • As a Carer, experience working in care is preferable but is not necessary because comprehensive training is provided.

 

Please keep in mind that the following qualifications are required to be considered for the position:

 

  • You must have a valid driving licence and access to a car.

 

  • You must be contactable by mobile phone and email.

 

  • You will have the right to work in the UK and are already based there.

 

  • We do hold two overseas sponsorship licences.

 

What exactly will your role be?

 

  • You will visit clients in their homes, encouraging independence by providing personal care and/or minor household responsibilities.

 

  • Assistance with personal care (e.g., bathing and dressing, medication administration, and toileting)

 

  • Preparing food

 

  • Light domestic duties, such as bed making, laundry, cleaning, and tidying.

 

  • Providing assistance; company, going out for coffee or a trip out.

 

  • You will develop relationships with clients and personalise care to their needs in a person-centered way.

 

  • Assisting less mobile customers with the proper training and equipment.
