The Teacher Recruitment Unit, which is part of the London Borough of Hounslow’s Schools’ HR function, is in charge of recruiting teachers for schools throughout our wide and diverse borough. Our Primary Teaching Pool is presently accepting appointments in Hounslow Primary Schools for September 2024.

Our Pool is open to all primary-qualified staff or ECTs seeking a teaching position in Hounslow schools.Hounslow is an excellent area to learn and teach, with results that exceed the local and national standards. Teachers appointed to our borough stay with us for longer periods of time than the UK average. Use our Teaching Pool to show your interest in teaching in the London Borough of Hounslow schools.

 

  • Save time by submitting only one application to Hounslow Primary School.
  • Select your Key Stage (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
  • Select your preferred location: Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, Hounslow, Cranford, Heston, Bedfont, Hanworth, or Feltham.
  • Applicants who pass the initial shortlisting process will have their information communicated directly with Hounslow schools who have openings for September 2024. Schools will invite applicants for interviews.

 

OPEN TO:

 

  • Those on existing ITT routes will have acquired UK QTS by summer 2024.

 

  • Existing ECTs in the first or second year

 

  • Experienced classroom teachers.

 

  • Middle leaders: Head of KS, Year, or TLR.

 

  • Specialist teachers

 

  • SENCo

 

  • Overseas Trained Teachers with UK QTS or Relevant UK Classroom Experience
