Job Description
Summary
We are searching for enthusiastic Senior Carers with at least one year of experience to work in various locations throughout Derbyshire.
You will assist our service users with a variety of tasks while observing and respecting the service user’s dignity, privacy, and independence to the greatest extent possible.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
- To provide personal and practical care for those suffering from a variety of illnesses and impairments.
- Assisting service users with getting out of bed, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing, and using the toilet as needed.
- To assist service users with mobility issues and other physical limitations, such as incontinence, as well as to assist in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- To assist in the care of dying service users.
- To assist in the development of mental and physical activity among service users by chatting to them, taking them out, and sharing activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreation with them.
- Reading and writing in log-book records, as well as participating in staff and service user meetings and training activities as directed.

Experience:
- 2 years of caregiving (required)
- Supervisory experience: 2 years (needed).
Licence/Certification:
- Licence to drive (preferred)
- Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2/3 (recommended)
